Traveling By Coach

Coach travel is also a popular means of travel to Budapest for visitors from other parts of Hungary and Europe. There are three main bus stations, with all International services terminating and departing from Népliget Coach Station, which is also a terminus for a number of domestic routes.Telephone (+36-1) 382-0888. The international ticket office is upstairs.
Other domestic terminals are at Árpád híd, Stadionok in Pest, and Etele tér in Buda.

Volánbusz Rt. runs scheduled passenger coach services to and from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine.
