Guarantees
|
Meditours Hungary works with the most well respected dental clinics in Budapest providing the best guarantees on dental work.
Although each dental clinic operates independently and provides it's own specific guarantees with regards to coverage, reimbursement and reduction or invalidation of the guarantee, Meditours Hungary has set its own general conditions by which all our clinics must comply in order to provide the highest quality services to all our patients.
General Terms and Conditions of our dental guarantees:
Our clinics provide 3-5 year comprehensive guarantees on all dental laboratory work including crowns, bridgework and veneers and dentures.
Need for a return trip:
Although rare, it is possible that an additional trip to Budapest may be required after treatment is completed. For example there may be a need for a re-fixing due to an initial bonding failure or other minor adjustments. In case of such events, the treatments will be free of charge.
Unforseen Circumstances:
Medicine is not an exact science and though a clinician will do their utmost to cover all events, there can still be unforeseen circumstances, such as root canal treatment after teeth preparation. Occasionally teeth can suffer preparation trauma during crown and bridgework treatment resulting in a need for root canal treatment afterwards. Neither Meditours Hungary nor The clinics will bear the liability for such unforeseen circumstances.
Invalidation or reduction of guarantee:
- If patients fail to visit the dentist for a routine check-up when advised.
- If oral hygiene is neglected.
- If the dentist's instructions are not followed. (ie not wearing dentures at night)
- If further dental treatments are made with a another dentist not affiliated with Meditours Hungary.
- If removable restorations such as partial-, full dentures are not kept and maintained properly.
- If gum tissue and/or teeth bone is naturally reducing.
- If the patient loses are gains a substantial amount of weight during a short period of time.
- In case of accidental damage ie dropping dentures.
- If there is general illness occurring that has negative effects on the dental condition. (ie diabetes, epilepsy, ostheoporosis, condition after x-rays or chemotherapy)
- If you do not notify Meditours Hungary prior to exercising a guarantee.
- If treatments received have not been paid in full and all current accounts have not been honoured
Some clinics may offer additional guarantees with regards to reimbursement for travel and accommodations. If you have additonal questions with regards to any of the terms and conditions above, ask your Meditours Hungary consultant.
Meditours Hungary observes the policy of "the patient has the choice" and therefore we ask you to consult with a professional before making any decisions about having treatment outside your home country
